Dress as you feel comfortable. You’ll see everything from coat-and-ties to polos-and-shorts. Even our traditional choir service is still relatively casual by traditional standards, and at our contemporary service you can wear your flip-flops if you want.

Childcare is offered at every service, up to Kindergarten-age students. At the 10 am and 11 am services, elementary-aged students will be invited to attend children’s programing after the opening of worship.

Families are encouraged to participate in our 10 am Family Chapel service, where children and their parents will experience the essential components of worship, be introduced to classic bible stories, and learn how to pray the Lord’s Prayer as a family. From ages 7 – 12, we recommend participation in our 11 am  service, where early and older elementary students can either stay in worship. By middle school, we are confident your kids will be able to understand and appreciate our “adult” worship services.

We recommend a small group. Small groups meet at the church and in homes, and are designed so we can learn in depth and build authentic relationships with one another. We also have a number of regular mission and service opportunities get involved with.

We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which traces its roots to the Protestant Reformation.

Yes! Of course! Presbyterians are a welcoming and inclusive bunch, and many of members have come from other Christian traditions and denominations.

Neither…or both? We don’t like to label ourselves, and you’ll find that the people who worship at Sunrise are diverse in their beliefs and backgrounds. We encourage you to simply be yourself, explore what it means to follow Jesus, and contribute to the colorful tapestry that is our church community.

Yes. We think membership is important part about making a two-way sacred promise, both from those joining the church and the church itself. The new members class also allows you to ask anything about Sunrise Church. Membership though is *not* required to participate in the life of church. Your participation is what is most important to us.
